The in-depth analysis of the artist’s paintings has yielded a collection of 80 shades that is unique among its kind. Each hue has its own identity and autonomy but is also designed to blend in with the others and interact with them through multiple possible combinations. The rigorous selection method, coupled with the designer’s sensitivity, acutely conveys the philosophy behind the Colsam Living Colors project, in which space and colour interact to generate new environments in which to live.

Sonia Pedrazzini is a renowned Italian designer who is also a deep connoisseur and devotee of Giorgio Morandi’s works. Her Morandine, a series of sculptures that endow with a three-dimensional quality objects such as vases, bottles, bowls and flasks – the painter’s preferred subjects – are inspired by the artist’s still-life works.
